Tumbled Malachite

Malachite is a vibrant green gemstone that has its origins in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Geologically, it forms through the process of secondary mineralization, where copper ores are subjected to weathering and oxidation over long periods of time. Malachite is primarily composed of copper carbonate hydroxide and is often found in association with other copper minerals.
